Hugo Patyn & Celina Rotundo
Hugo Patyn & Celina Rotundo are master Argentine Tango dancers and choreographers that dazzle on stage and in every class and workshop they teach. The pair possess an especially particular connection and style, making them world-class dancers. They have danced in diverse places all over the world, presenting challenging, intense, and sensual choreographies with historical significance.
Both have had extensive artistic training from an early age in Ballet, Argentine Folklore, Music, Flamenco, and Figure Skating. When Tango finally entered their lives, they were both influenced by great mentors. Mentors such as Osvaldo Zotto, Gloria and Eduardo Arquimbau, Nito and Elba, and Pedro Monteleones—just to name a few.
As instructors they tour the globe, spreading the gospel of Argentine Tango, initiating and inspiring hundreds of students. Hugo and Celina also run a school in Argentina that teaches social and stage tango, and they give monthly body training seminars and host a wildly popular milonga there.
In addition to their commitment to teaching tango to the world—Hugo and Celina lead an Argentine Tango Company. The company has participated internationally in several grand events, receiving the best ratings after each presentation. With its character, and of an incomparable aesthetic, the Company recreates fantastic scenes and moments of the Argentine Tango. With incredible costumes and unique skills, they embody musicality, and choreographies that cause the audience to fall in love with each presentation.
