Eric & Diana
Eric Dinzel was born into the prestigious Dinzel tango family. Raised dancing tango from his childhood, he is now a renowned teacher and performer in his own right. As a professor at the University of Tango, CETBA, Eric teaches weekly seminars on technique, expression, and improvisation. With Diana Suarez he has traveled the world and taught in Festivals and schools in Argentina, Sweden, Czechoslovakia, Italy, Uruguay and Spain.
Diana Suarez started dancing contemporary dance and ballet in her native Columbia at an early age and arrived at Tango by chance. In 2008 she moved to Buenos Aires with the idea to continue her studies in contemporary dance but ended studying Tango dance at the Dinzel Studio and at the University of Tango, CETBA. After a few years, she started teaching with Eric Dinzel at the Dinzel Studio. Upon the completion of her degree from CETBA she began to teach there. From 2010 until 2013 she worked with Eric Dinzel dancing and teaching around Argentina, Colombia, and Uruguay. Together they gave seminars on Improvisation, technique, expression, and figures.
Currently, Diana Suarez continues her work with different partners, continues to teach at CETBA, and give private lessons. In addition, Ms. Suarez works with groups in Argentina and Colombia, specializing in workshops of woman’s technique. She continues to learn different disciplines from world dances to qi gong and constantly strives to learn and explore ever more about Tango.
