Description

The Traditional Tango Steps class taught by Pablo Giorgini and Noelia Colletti shows you how to add the giros and enrosque steps to your tango dance. This class is great for intermediate to advanced level dancers.

Technique Segment

First, in the technique segment of the class, Noelia starts things off by demonstrating the proper technique for creating a very nice giro; including playing with three different possible speeds of the step. Next, she demonstrates the proper technique for enrosques in the forward ocho.

Next Pablo joins you on the dance floor and demonstrates the technique of giro and enrosques for the leader. He starts you off with the technique for the giro, and then adds in the technique for enrosques. Finally, he demonstrates some slick embellishments to spruce up the steps.

Steps Segment

In the steps segment of the Traditional Tango Steps class, Pablo and Noelia demonstrate how to several different types of walks to make your dance more interesting. After that, they add in some embellishments like the salido. They lead you through a lot of repetitions of the steps to reinforce the information. Pablo and Noelia then take you back into working on the giro and enrosques—showing you two different types of enrosques.

Finally, Pablo and Noelia show you how to combine the combination of the walk, the giro, and the enrosques together.

The steps segment of Traditional Tango Steps includes plenty of replays to breakdown the combinations and steps.
